COVID 19 PANDEMIC CANCELLATIONS.

Whilst we are all experiencing difficulties travelling and whilst travel bookings maybe interrupted at short notice we have introduced temporary measures to help our valued customers.

If your travel arrangements are amended or cancelled either by a flight cancellation or a ruling by your home government or the government of the country where you were travelling to, changes which prevent you from travelling, autorent.asia will offer you either a full refund in the form of a voucher for use against a future booking or we will amend your booking free of charge.

All other cancellations not covered by this offer will continue to be cancelled under our normal cancellation terms as shown below.

You may cancel your booking up to 72 hours before the collection time & date without incurring any further costs. Cancellations made between 72 hours before the occurrence and the collection date & time may incur a cancellation cost imposed by the car rental supplier. No Shows are treated as cancellations within the 72hrs before the occurrence and the collection date & time. There are no refunds of booking deposits in all cases where the customer has cancelled the booking.

In the case where the customer has advised us of their inbound flight details the rental counter will track the customers flight and will usually hold the car for the customer pending their arrival. In cases where the customer has not advised us of their inbound flight detail the car rental counter will usually hold the car for up to 2 hours, after this time they may give the car to another customer and the rental counter can not guarantee that a car is available for the customer when they arrive. We recommend that customers facing a delay should email us at their earliest opportunity with details of the delay.

Cancellations for bookings which include Peace of Mind excess refund cover: all of the above will still apply, however for cancellations made before 72 hours before the collection date & time a full refund of the Peace of Mind excess refund cover will be given in the form of a credit note. Cancellations made between 72 hours before the occurrence and the collection date & time will receive no refund.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail; telephone cancellations are not acceptable.
